Renata Robertson B.A.

I commenced with the Commonwealth Public Service in 1979 at the Australian Taxation Office, and then moved to the Department of Veterans Affairs. I have been at the Australian Antarctic Division since 1990 and have occupied a number of positions including Purchasing Officer, Senior Contracts Officer, Science Administration Manager, Risk Management Project Officer, Security Coordinator, Science Planning Coordinator (Physical Sciences), and now Coordinator of the Australian Marine Mammal Centre.

My Coordinator role includes

• project management
• administration of the marine mammal grant funding and processes
• arranging and negotiating funding contracts
• provision of advice to the scientific community and the general public on the AMMC's role
• arranging and providing secretariat support to committees
• arranging conferences and workshops
• provision of general business and operating advice to colleagues
