Michael Woosey

Michael Woosey is a Medical Practitioner, and is the voyage doctor for the Antarctic Whale Expedition aboard the Tangaroa. 

Michael studied medicine in Adelaide and then specialised in emergency medicine and general surgery in Perth where he now works as an emergency physician.
Michael has previously worked as an Antarctic Medical Practitioner for the Australian Antarctic Division, wintering at Macquarie Island in 2003 and Davis Station, Antarctica in 2005; and has worked as Medical Officer on the Oceanic Viking for a fisheries voyage into the Southern Ocean in May/June 2006.
