The Indo-Pacific Cetacean Research and Conservation FundThe IPCRC Fund commenced in 2009 and aims to attract high quality, innovative and relevant research projects that address research and conservation challenges of interest to the Australian Government, developing countries in the Indo-Pacific Region and the cetacean research and conservation community more generally. The research addresses key knowledge gaps in the Indo-Pacific region including better understanding the population structure, distribution and abundance of cetacean populations, and the nature and extent of the threats they face. 2012 funding round closed 7 February 2012. |
